Overview

This is the trait on the Fafnir weapon. Its projectiles carry compressed quantum particles that decompress inside targets after a short delay, lacerating them.

Over-pressurizing the weapon with Quantum Nova releases a detonation around you. Quantum Nova spends part of Fafnir's ammo reserves to dramatically weaken targets for a short time. The weaken duration scales with the ammo spent and pauses while the weapon is holstered, and it is noted as strong against Unstoppable Champions. Sources differ on whether it is triggered by an alternate weapon action or by the reload input.

Tips

Fafnir's catalyst, No Distractions, reduces flinch when you aim the weapon for a short period, which is useful in raids and dungeons where boss attacks cause flinching.
