History of Suffering (triumph)

Overview

Suffering is a lore entry in For Every Rose, a Thorn, introduced in Season of the Drifter. It concerns the philosophy associated with the Shadows of Yor and Dredgen Yor. The entry is a lore reward rather than an equipment challenge.

Original unlock method

The book's entries originally dropped from kills with Thorn. Equip the weapon and defeat ordinary PvE enemies; higher-quality enemies were not required. Continue earning weapon kills to unlock the book's entries. Following the Year 4 lore changes, legacy lore books can be read without reproducing their original collectible grind.
