History of Supercharged Battery

Overview

Supercharged Battery is the exotic trait on Wavesplitter. Collecting an Orb of Power starts a period of maximum power that begins with an automatic reload. Sustained fire during that period suppresses targets.

Duration

Since patch 4.1.0, the Void 3.0 update, an Orb pickup grants 10 seconds of maximum power, up from 5 seconds. The total time is capped at 20 seconds, up from 10 seconds. Suppression was added in the same patch.

Use

Because the mode starts with a reload, an Orb pickup can refill the weapon in the middle of a fight, and sustained fire during the mode keeps enemies suppressed.
