History of Surge Boon Modifiers

Overview

Surge Boon Modifiers is a Triumph within Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to complete an activity while a Surge modifier is active.

How to complete

To acquire this triumph, the player must activate a Surge modifier before starting an activity. This is done by navigating to the Ops activity customization menu. Within this menu, select the Boon and Event Modifiers section. Choose a Surge modifier to activate. The activity must be set to Expert difficulty or higher for the modifier to be available. Finally, complete the activity with the modifier active.

Choose an Ops activity at Expert difficulty or higher and select a Surge in its modifier configuration before launch. Equip weapons matching the selected element to benefit from the damage boost, then finish the activity. Merely using an elemental subclass without activating the activity modifier does not satisfy this objective.
