History of Survey mission

Overview

A Survey is a Patrol type that sends you to another sector of the same zone. Stand near the objective marker (a compass icon) and stay alive until survey progress reaches 100%; enemies may or may not be present. Completing a patrol spawns a Loot Cache in the sector.

Seen in Echo Mesa, the European Dead Zone, The Tangled Shore, Arcadian Valley and New Pacific Arcology per game data; the original patrol zones were EDZ, Titan, Nessus and Io.
