History of Suspend

Overview

Suspend is a Strand status effect that lifts its target slightly into the air. Suspended targets cannot move freely or fire their weapons, but they still take full damage. Unstoppable Champions are stunned by it, and it is especially effective against tanky elite enemies.

Applied by

• Shackle Grenade, a Strand grenade that suspends targets on impact and releases suspending subprojectiles.
• Bladefury, the Berserker Titan's heavy attack, which fires seeking projectiles that suspend.
• Drengr's Lash, a Strand Titan Aspect that sends a suspending ripple along the ground.
• Ensnaring Slam, the Threadrunner Hunter's class ability, which suspends nearby targets on impact.
• Mindspun Invocation, which lets final blows during Weaver's Trance detonate a suspending burst for the Broodweaver Warlock.
• Thread of Binding, a Strand fragment that makes Super final blows emit a suspending burst.

Death

A suspended target that is defeated unwinds into a Tangle.
