History of Sword Logic

Overview

Sword Logic is the philosophy and paracausal power system at the heart of Hive society: existence is the struggle to exist, and those unable to defend themselves deserve destruction. Taught to the Hive by the Witness, it makes power come from violence and conquest.

Tithe system

Each Hive member hosts a Worm that must be fed by killing. They tithe surplus upward through the hierarchy to the gods (Oryx, Savathûn and Xivu Arath). Critics, including the Witness, see it as a crude reading of Darkness philosophy that corrupts its practitioners.
