History of Symmetry

Overview

Symmetry is an Exotic Arc Scout Rifle in the Energy slot, introduced in Season of Dawn. Its intrinsic perk, Revolution, makes it fire full-auto; holding reload swaps to Arc Seeker mode, firing Arc projectiles that track targets. Precision hits build Dynamic Charge, which powers up the Arc Seekers.

Acquisition

• Exotic Archive / Monument to Lost Lights: the game data lists the Exotic Archive at the Tower as its source, and the Destiny Game Wiki lists the Monument to Lost Lights (Shadowkeep Exotics).
• Historical: it was a Season of Dawn Season Pass reward. Older guides describe buying it from the Exotic kiosk and then taking a catalyst quest from Banshee-44; these may be out of date.

Catalyst

The Electric Styx catalyst raises maximum Dynamic Charge stacks from 15 to 20, and at 20 stacks swapping to Arc Seeker mode fully reloads the weapon. Older guides describe getting it by completing 400 activities and then 700 kills with Symmetry; confirm the current steps in game, as they may have changed.
