History of Tarnished Mettle (triumph)

Overview

Tarnished Mettle (triumph) is a Destiny 2 triumph associated with the Tarnished Mettle Scout Rifle. The objective requires the player to achieve Pattern progress of 5/5. This progress is attained by completing Deepsight Resonance extractions on the weapon. Completing these extractions unlocks the weapon's Pattern.

How to complete

To obtain the necessary progress, the player must acquire the Tarnished Mettle Scout Rifle. This weapon is a Legendary Arc Scout Rifle introduced in Season of Plunder. It can be obtained by completing Ketchcrash or Expeditions.

Once the weapon is in the inventory, the player must equip it and complete Deepsight Resonance extractions. Each completed extraction contributes to the Pattern progress objective. The triumph is completed once the progress reaches 5/5.
