History of Temple of Crota

The Temple of Crota is a private location in the Ocean of Storms on the Moon, where the Hive god Crota, Son of Oryx, first emerged during the Guardians' failed bid to reclaim the Moon. It is held by the Hidden Swarm and is reached through Anchor of Light and Dusk Warren. The entrance near Archer's Line is guarded by two Hallowed Knights armed with Hive Boomers.

The temple appears in Destiny, in the expansions Destiny: The Dark Below, Destiny: House of Wolves and Destiny: The Taken King, and in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.
