History of The Adherent

Overview

The Adherent is a triumph awarded for completing the "The Adherent" Major Arcana quest. This quest is part of the Season of the Witch and involves accessing the corresponding card within the Deck of Whispers. Completing the triumph grants 10 score.

How to complete

To complete the quest, players must first gather Insight from chests found in public event areas. Interacting with chests from Heroic public events provides additional Insight. Once the required amount of Insight is collected, players must visit the Lectern of Divination to unveil the mysteries of the card.

Upon visiting the Lectern, the card is added to the player's Deck of Whispers. This card can then be used in Savathûn's Spire and the Altars of Summoning. If the player holds at least five cards in the Deck, one is selected at random before each encounter in these activities. The card's power can be utilized to the player's advantage during these encounters.

The card can be removed from the deck at any time by interacting with it in the Athenaeum. Removing a card prevents it from being drawn in an activity, but it can be added back to the deck by returning to the Athenaeum.
