History of The Gauntlet

Overview

The Gauntlet is the marathon mode of Pantheon 2.0, the boss-rush series from Into the Light. It went live on 13 June 2026 and strings the Pantheon boss lineup into one back-to-back run with no checkpoints between bosses.

Rules

• Per Grindout and Destiny 2 sources, the bosses of the Calus Resplendent and Morgeth Surpassing brackets (Pantheon: Calus Resplendent, Pantheon: Morgeth Surpassing) run in sequence, followed by Insurrection Prime as the seventh encounter.
• Revives are pooled across the whole run, with stacking power handicaps.
• Completion is not retroactive for the MMXXVI seal; runs before 13 June do not count. It also advances Godslayer triumphs and gives an emblem.

Disambiguation

This was requested as a Guardian Games lap event, but Shattered Vault, Destinypedia and Boostmatch do not mention a Gauntlet or laps there; the Guardian Games boss-rush is Rushdown. Boss order details differ slightly between sources; Platinum rules for the Gauntlet are not described in the sources checked.
