History of The Inquisitor (Adept)

Overview

The Inquisitor (Adept) is the Adept version of The Inquisitor, a Legendary Shotgun (Arc, Pinpoint Slug Frame, 65 RPM). It was introduced in Season 26 (per the Destiny 2 fan wiki). Curated roll: Corkscrew Rifling, Assault Mag, Lone Wolf, Closing Time. Origin trait options: Alacrity, One Quiet Moment or Suros Synergy. The Adept version shares the base weapon's perk pool, with a different look, and fully masterworking it grants +3 to the other stats on top of the usual +10 to the primary stat.

Acquisition

Earned from the Flawless chest at the Lighthouse after a Flawless run (7 wins, no losses) in Trials of Osiris; the weekly Trials loot pool rotates, so it is only available when featured. It can also be dropped by playing matches with 7+ wins after going Flawless. Adept weapons can take exclusive Adept weapon mods and, unlike some raid Adepts, are not craftable. Nothing in the sources states whether the pool is currently active or sunset, so check the in-game Trials rewards.
