History of The Last Chance (triumph)

Overview

The Last Chance (triumph) is a triumph awarded for completing the mission The Last Chance on any difficulty. The mission serves as the eighth story beat of the The Witch Queen expansion. Completing this objective grants 15 triumph score.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the Guardian must finish the The Last Chance mission. The objective involves breaching the Apothecary Wing within Savathûn's fortress. During the mission, the Guardian navigates through areas containing Hive enemies, including Lucent Brood variants such as Thrall, Acolyte, Knight, and Wizard.

Progression requires using a Hive sword to destroy specific material barriers, which reveals Deepsight Orbs. Interacting with these orbs exposes hidden platforms and paths. The Guardian must defeat Savathûn's Right Hand, a boss encounter that occurs after traversing the apothecary. Following the defeat of the Right Hand, the Guardian acquires a Crystal shard, which is a piece of Savathûn's former prison. The mission concludes upon acquiring this item.
