History of The Lonely and the Dead

Overview

The Lonely and the Dead is an entry in The Lawless Frontier, a lore book introduced with Destiny 2: Forsaken. It describes survival on the Tangled Shore through the translated observations of C.C. LaGrange, emphasizing the need to find allies among other survivors.

How to unlock

Originally, complete Forsaken campaign missions to obtain the book's lore entries. The chapter was a campaign lore reward rather than an independent kill counter or destination collectible.

The original campaign and Tangled Shore were removed with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, so this campaign acquisition route is no longer obtainable. The chapter remains available in the archived lore collection.
