History of The Navigator

The Navigator is a Strand Exotic Trace Rifle from the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon.

Overview

• Intrinsic trait – Protective Weave: firing at an ally grants Woven Mail to both you and the target.
• Perk – Weft Cutter: Severs targets afflicted with sustained damage, reducing their damage output.
• Archetype: Trace Rifle.

Acquisition

Random drop from the final boss, Simmumah ur-Nokru, once per character per week. Drop odds are boosted by completing Ghosts of the Deep triumphs such as "Deny Death", "Alone in the Deep", "King of the Deep", "In Memoriam" and "Sovereign" (Master difficulty). Shacknews expected it to become farmable when the dungeon enters the featured rotation, so this may have changed.

Catalyst

Find dead Ghosts in the dungeon, deposit a Vestige of Light at the Hive statues across three areas, and defeat Thul-Ar. It grants Gordian Knot: hold reload then fire to create a grapple point other players can use.
