History of The Roadborn

Overview

The Roadborn is an Exotic weapon perk on The Chaperone. Precision final blows and rapid precision hits grant bonus handling, range, rate of fire and precision damage for a short time.

It is a precision-focused perk, so it rewards landing headshots or crits in quick succession. The buff is a short window, so keeping precision kills coming is the main way to hold it.

Numbers

The bonus lasts 9 seconds and includes a 22.6% precision damage bonus (16.72% against Guardians in PvP). The in-game description lists bonus handling and range without figures. The Destiny 1 version also increased rate of fire, but the Destiny 2 description does not list that effect.
