History of The Slammer (Adept)

Overview

The Slammer (Adept) is the Adept variant of The Slammer, a Legendary Stasis Sword (Energy slot, Special ammo). Introduced in Season of the Wish (Season 23) with the Vortex Frame archetype. Flavor text: "The cutting edge."

Curated-roll perks for the base weapon: Enduring Blade, Balanced Guard, Attrition Orbs (orbs from sustained damage) and Cold Steel (powered strikes slow targets), plus the Stunning Recovery or Vanguard's Vindication origin traits.

Acquisition

The Adept version drops from Grandmaster Nightfall activities (a harder tier of the Nightfall), as opposed to the base weapon, which drops from regular Nightfall strikes. It supports Adept mods and gains extra masterwork stats.
