History of The Sum of All Tears

Overview

The Sum of All Tears is a gold-tier Crucible medal for winning a Rumble match with a final score at least equal to every opponent's score combined. The Triumph counts medals earned; medals are awarded for the match result rather than accumulated to create the qualifying score.

How to earn

Win the match while maintaining the required lead over the whole lobby. For example, a final score of 20 qualifies when the other players' scores total 20 or less. Beating each opponent individually is insufficient if their combined score exceeds yours.

Choose engagements that you can finish quickly, use cover to recover between fights and avoid giving opponents easy points through repeated deaths. Finishing damaged enemies secures points before another opponent can take them. Monitor the scoreboard as the match approaches its end and keep scoring rather than protecting only a narrow first-place lead. The condition is checked against the final match scores, not your kill/death ratio.
