History of The Sword

Overview

The Sword is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to earn a medal by eliminating an opponent who has just eliminated a teammate.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must eliminate an enemy who recently eliminated one of their own teammates. This action awards the corresponding medal.

Trials tactics

This is a Trials of Osiris medal in the Crucible. Fight close enough to your teammates to trade an elimination: when an opponent kills your teammate, immediately finish that same opponent. Use the callout and their last known position to identify the correct target, while keeping cover available against the surviving enemies. Killing a different opponent does not meet this condition. The related The Shield medal concerns an opponent who damaged a teammate.
