History of The Whirlwind

Overview

The Whirlwind was the catastrophe that ended Eliksni (Fallen) civilisation on Riis. When the Black Fleet arrived the Traveler left, the Pyramids caused immense destruction and rival Houses turned on each other. Billions died and several Houses, including House Stone and most of House Rain, were wiped out. Survivors led by figures such as Variks and Eramis fled and began the Long Drift, which ended in the Solar System.
