History of Traitor's Fate

Overview

Traitor's Fate is a Legendary Arc Sword with an Adaptive Frame, themed around Emperor Calus and the Cabal Loyalists (Destinypedia). Its lore frames it as a reward for eliminating Dominus Ghaul. The Destiny Game Wiki's curated roll is Tempered Edge, Enduring Guard and Assassin's Blade; Destinypedia lists Enduring Blade, Burst Guard, Assassin's Blade, Tempered Blade and Enduring Guard among its perks (the two lists differ slightly).

Acquisition

A pre-order/edition bonus of the original game: included with the Limited, Digital Deluxe (Deluxe) or Collector's Edition of Destiny 2, collected from the Postmaster after completing The Red War campaign (Destiny Game Wiki). Destinypedia says it is a Deluxe Edition purchase bonus. It is not stated to be craftable and no Adept version is listed.
