History of Transfer Gate

'''Transfer Gates''', also called Warp Gates, are Vex constructs that warp units from other parts of time and space into the Solar System. Various gates scattered across the solar system and Vex worlds lead to the Vex Network, also known as The Nexus.

Transfer Gates appear on Venus, in parts of Mars, in The Vault of Glass, and in The Black Garden, where they teleport Vex reinforcements to fight Guardians. They are also active on Nessus and Io. Active gates also teleport Guardians around the Crucible maps Vertigo and Crossroads.
