History of Transversive Steps

Transversive Steps are Exotic Warlock leg armor, introduced in Rise of Iron-era Destiny and the only exotic boots Warlocks had in the original game. Lore describes "noetic devices" that tap cosmic velocities to speed the wearer.

Overview

The exotic perk "Strange Protractor" increases sprint speed and, after sprinting for a short time, automatically reloads your equipped weapon. PowerPyx (written around Destiny 2's launch) says it reloads energy weapons only, while later wording says the equipped weapon; treat the older description as outdated and check in game.

Acquisition

• Exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops, including Lost Sectors.
• Xûr has sold it for Legendary Shards (Destinypedia lists 23, an older price).
