History of Treat Sacrifice

Overview

Treat Sacrifice is a triumph in Destiny 2. It requires the player to deposit treats in the altar during the Haunted Altars of Sorrow activity. The objective is to deposit 100 treats.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, players must participate in the Haunted Altars of Sorrow activity. During the activity, players must locate the altar and deposit treats into it. This process must be repeated until a total of 100 treats have been deposited.

Banking treats

This is a Festival of the Lost event objective. Launch the six-player Haunted Altars of Sorrow activity on the Moon. At the active enemy altar, defeat the special enemies that drop Treats, collect the drops and return them to the altar occupied by Sir Skullduggery. Deposit them there to advance the 100-treat counter.

Greedy Ghouls in the first wave drop 30 treats, and each player can carry up to 30. Bank frequently instead of continuing to gather while at the carrying limit. Only treats deposited into the altar count; simply picking them up is insufficient. Continue banking across runs until the counter is complete.

Reward and availability

Claiming this event objective awards 10 Event Tokens. It requires the Haunted Altars of Sorrow event version, introduced for the 2025 Festival of the Lost, rather than the ordinary patrol Altars of Sorrow activity.
