Overview

Trials of Osiris is the elite competitive 3v3 Crucible event of Destiny 2, overseen by Saint-14 in the Tower. It returned in Season of the Worthy (it originated in Destiny 1's House of Wolves). It is a weekend event: it opens Friday at 10:00 AM Pacific and ends at the Tuesday weekly reset. A featured map rotates each weekend.

How to launch

  • Own the current expansion (per TheGamer's guide, Destiny 2: The Final Shape) and complete the "Trials Access" quest from Saint-14.
  • Buy a Passage from Saint-14, then launch Trials from the Crucible node in the Director. Fireteams of three.
  • Format: a 3v3 elimination-style mode where the first team to win five rounds wins the match; teammates can be revived. Your Passage tracks wins and losses (older sources describe a ticket and 7 wins / 3 losses card; check the in-game Passage for current rules).

Passages

  • Trials of Osiris Passage: skill-based matchmaking, bonus reputation, no Lighthouse access.
  • Lighthouse Passage: seven wins grants entry to the Lighthouse; connection-based matchmaking.
  • Flawless Passage: earned after a 7-0 run; returns skill-based matchmaking.

Rewards

Each win on a streak (1 to 7) grants a reward cache with materials, Trials armor and weapons. Seven wins gives the Red Trials Glow, a base weapon and an Adept weapon, plus the Flawless Passage. Adept weapons give +3 to all stats when masterworked and accept Adept mods; drop chance rises with win streak. At the Lighthouse you can claim Ascendant Shards, Adept weapons, mods and cosmetics. Listed rewards include the Last Discipline and Triumphal Anthem armor sets.

Related triumphs

The Flawless and Lighthouse-visit Triumphs and the Flawless seal are tied to going 7-0; see the Triumphs pages.

Note: power, rewards and rules change season to season; sources here are mixed-age.
