History of Trip Mine

The Trip Mine is a Vanguard emplacement in Onslaught that detonates when enemies approach. It is bought with Scrap at the start of each set and after the third and sixth waves, alongside turrets and decoys. Trip Mines can be upgraded after placement, and an emplacement that is destroyed loses all invested Scrap. They are most effective against regular enemies, while they do little against bosses.
