History of Tungsten Bowstring

Overview

Tungsten Bowstring is a two-step quest from Ada-1 in the Shooting Range during the Arms Week bow event (January 27 to February 3, 2026), introduced with Renegades. Per search listings it unlocks after acquiring Shattershafts, alongside In-Flight Benefits. It takes about an hour.

Walkthrough

1. Earn 200 points. Defeat targets with precision final blows in Ops (Portal) activities. Weapons with Volatile Weapon mods equipped grant bonus progress, so use a Bow with a Volatile mod.
2. Return to Ada-1 in the Shooting Range and report how the mod performed.

Rewards

• Tungsten Bowstring (Exotic, per in-game data). The Volatile mod releases an elemental burst on impact at the cost of draw time and handling.

Trivia

• In game data this step says "Ops"; search listings say "Portal".
