Ultra

Ultra is the highest enemy rank: the strongest enemies in their faction, marked with a skull icon and a large health bar. They sit above Major enemies and are the main encounters in missions, strikes, dungeons and raids. In Destiny 2 the rank is called Boss. Ultras are rarely found in patrols and usually appear during world events, and some enemies only ever appear as Ultras.
