History of Undercurrent

Overview

Undercurrent is a Legendary Arc Wave Frame Grenade Launcher (special weapon) introduced with Season of the Wish (November 28, 2023). Dexerto calls it "meta-defining", the first of its type to challenge Forbearance. The suggested PvE roll is Demolitionist with Voltshot; alternatives are Lead From Gold or Field Prep. Destinypedia also lists One for All among the perks. Dexerto says it is less ideal in PvP.

Acquisition

Complete Nightfall activities; higher difficulty gives better drop chances. An Adept version drops from Grandmaster Nightfall (guaranteed, Adept only, per Dexerto). Dexerto states it can be focused at Commander Zavala for 5 Vanguard Engrams and 25,000 Glimmer once obtained. Craftable status is not stated.
