History of Undercurrent (Adept)

Overview

Undercurrent (Adept) is the Adept variant of Undercurrent, a Legendary Arc Grenade Launcher (Energy slot, Special ammo). A one-shot Wave Frame launcher whose projectiles release a wave of energy on ground contact. Notable random-roll perks include Demolitionist, One for All and Adrenaline Junkie. Sources disagree on the season: Destinypedia says Season of the Wish while the Destiny Game Wiki says Season 24 (Season of the Witch).

Curated-roll perks listed by the community wiki for the base weapon: Hard Launch, Implosion Rounds, Stats for All and Bait and Switch, plus the Stunning Recovery or Vanguard's Vindication origin traits.

Acquisition

The Adept version drops from Grandmaster Nightfall activities (a harder tier of the Nightfall), as opposed to the base weapon, which drops from regular Nightfall strikes. It supports Adept mods and gains extra masterwork stats. Sources do not mark it as craftable.
