History of Unknown Horizons

Overview

Unknown Horizons is a triumph in Destiny 2 with a value of 10. It is awarded for completing the first act of the Episode: Echoes episode, titled Echoes Act I: A Familiar Voice.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must complete the Echoes Act I: A Familiar Voice quest. This activity serves as the introductory chapter for the Episode: Echoes storyline.

Original quest walkthrough

This triumph tracks the introductory quest, rather than the whole A Rising Chorus: Act I story. Decrypt an Echo Engram at the War Table in the H.E.L.M., follow the quest dialogue, then launch Mission: Meteoric from Nessus. Complete the mission and return to the H.E.L.M. to join Saint-14 and Osiris.

Speak with Failsafe, complete a run of Breach Executable to collect data and extract, then speak with Failsafe again to finish the quest. Claim the completed triumph.

Category and availability

Unknown Horizons belongs to the Episode: Echoes Ritual Quests category and awards 10 points. The original quest/vendor route became legacy when the episode was retired with The Edge of Fate in July 2025.
