History of Untethered Edge Bond

Overview

Untethered Edge Bond is the Warlock class item piece of the Untethered Edge armor set, a Legendary set introduced in Episode: Echoes (Destinypedia dates the episode to June 11, 2024; Destiny Game Wiki lists it as Season 24). Its flavor text is "Show your true intentions."

The set

Untethered Edge is available to all three classes: Titan, Hunter and Warlock. The set's pieces are the helmet, gauntlets, chest armor, leg armor and the class item (Titan Mark, Warlock Bond, Hunter Cloak). Per Destinypedia, the set is obtained through Echo Engrams and episodic activities including the Failsafe activities, Breach Executable, Battleground: Echoes and Encore. Destiny Game Wiki lists the Cape with the perk Echoes of Glory, which gives bonus Failsafe vendor reputation that stacks across up to three equipped pieces; the class item counts as two pieces.

Acquisition

Bungie's item data lists this class item as sourced from "Radiolite Bay Deposits". Destiny Game Wiki gives the same source for the Cape. The sources opened do not state a craftable, Adept or sunset status for it, and Destinypedia's set page does not mention Radiolite Bay Deposits, so the two sources are not fully aligned on how the set is obtained.
