History of Val Ma'rag

Val Ma'rag was a Red Legion Cabal officer who sought the favour of Empress Caiatl and a place on her War Council. He launched a doomed offensive against the Hive in the Cosmodrome and was defeated by Guardians in a Rite of Proving during Battleground: Foothold, where he uses a portable shield, summons reinforcements and fires a Solar magma launcher.
