History of Valor

Valor is the rank system for non-competitive Crucible playlists such as Quickplay and rotating modes.

Overview

Valor ranks (shown in game as Crucible ranks) run from Guardian I up to Legend. You only gain Valor; losses never reduce it. It is separate from the competitive ladder (older Glory ranks, replaced before Lightfall by Competitive Divisions). Sources differ over time, so check current season details.
