History of Valus Cau'tor

Overview

Valus Cau'tor is a Cabal figure from the lore of Season of the Chosen. His flavour text appears on the Praefectus Cover helmet, which belongs to the Praefectus suit for Warlocks.

Story

Cau'tor and his daughter Ta'nam are Cabal. On the eve of battle he takes her to a world of glowing flowers, a home they have lost, so she can see it once more. A sudden distortion pulls them into space aboard the Barbatos Rex. There he breaks an heirloom blade that had earned their family its standing and tells her "Home is no longer behind us." He forbids them from dwelling on memories of home, arguing that their longing should fuel their fury. Ta'nam accepts this, but wonders whether her father fears the Sol warriors. He says he does not, because he fights alongside her.
