History of Vanguard Gear

Vanguard Gear is a Legendary engram that contains a random Legendary Vanguard weapon or armor piece. The Destiny 2 Wiki lists it under the name Vanguard Engram.

Acquisition

You earn one engram for each rank gained with Commander Zavala, and ranks come from completing Vanguard activities. Claim them from Zavala's vendor screen. The engram can also drop from a strike or Vanguard activity.

Contents

The pool includes ten Legendary weapons, such as the Fortissimo-11 shotgun, and Photosuede armor for Titan, Hunter and Warlock. Positive Outlook, the seasonal Vanguard playlist auto rifle, can only drop from Vanguard activities.
