History of Void Light

Void Light is the latent Void power that the Gazing Into The Abyss quest awakens in a Guardian. In step one, "The Hunger", players awaken their Void Light by completing 1,000 Void kills, 10 Orbs of Power and 25,000 XP. Along the way, points come from XP, Orbs and defeating enemies, and Void damage earns substantially more. Step two, "Insatiable", sends players back to Ikora Rey in the Tower.

The quest unlocks the Void subclasses for New Light players: Sentinel for Titans and Nightstalker for Hunters. Its rewards include Sentinel's Shove, Stalker's Shot, and the Titan and Hunter emblems. The wiki describes the points as a progress measure and does not name a separate currency.
