Overview

Vox Obscura is an Exotic Mission on Mars (the Scablands), introduced in Season of the Risen. Stop the Psionic broadcasts and defeat Qabix, a rebel Psion. Reported starting power is 1550 (Normal) and 1580 (Master) in a 2022 guide, while Destinypedia lists 1570 and 1600. Master unlocks after completing Normal.

Walkthrough

  1. Clear the airfield before an orbital bombardment starts, and defeat a Goliath Tank.
  2. Amanda Holliday supplies a Drake Tank to cross the Scablands.
  3. In the control room, defeat an Unstoppable Champion and the Incendior Ba'Aruk, then three Psion Codewardens and their shielding commanders.
  4. Boss: Qabix starts inside a Void energy bubble. Break it with a non-explosive weapon, then shoot the glowing spots. Destroy the Psions and Scorpius turrets protecting Qabix, and kill the three suspended Psion Commanders to damage it. Repeat twice.

Rewards

The Exotic grenade launcher Dead Messenger on first completion. Clearing Master grants its catalyst.
