Weapon Mods

Overview

Weapon mods let a Guardian customize a weapon's stats and effects to suit a playstyle. The feature unlocks at Guardian Rank 6 (Veteran), where the rank reward is listed as Weapon Mods Unlocked and is tied to the Masterwork Weapons objective.

Acquisition

Most weapon mods are earned from rank-up packages given by Banshee-44. Others come from Trials of Osiris flawless runs, Grandmaster Nightfall strikes, Hunter's Journal and Tablet of Ruin artifacts, the Last Wish raid, and Xûr's Treasure Hoard in Eternity. One mod is unlocked by default.
