History of Weapon Shaping

Overview

Weapon Shaping is a Guardian Ranks crafting objective. Complete The Arrival and The Relic to unlock weapon shaping at the Relic in The Enclave on Mars. Access the enclave through Savathûn’s Throne World in the Director.

How to complete

1. Complete The Arrival, the opening mission of The Witch Queen campaign.
2. Follow The Relic to The Enclave and interact with the Relic. Choose Shape, then select The Enigma Glaive pattern supplied by the tutorial.
3. Fill every required component slot and finalize the shape. Continue the quest’s dialogue and finish The Relic.

These introductory missions and the crafting unlock are free to all players. Later weapons require their own patterns before they can be shaped. Creating another weapon or transferring an existing The Enigma from a different character does not replace finishing the required tutorial quests.
