History of Weapon Telemetry

Overview

Weapon Telemetry is an uncommon planetary material ("Materials that may be useful for modifying weapons and armor") that can be turned in to Banshee-44 to raise Gunsmith reputation (Destinypedia).

Acquisition

Destinypedia says it comes from dismantling gear. A separate guide describes it as dropping from Solar, Arc or Void kills while using a Ghost with a matching Analyzer perk (search summary of the Destiny Game Wiki; not opened in full). The sources differ, and these are older mechanics: the Witch Queen update changed Gunsmith reputation to be granted directly on dismantling. See also Gunsmith Materials.
