History of Wicked Implement

The Wicked Implement is a Stasis Exotic Scout Rifle from Season of the Deep. Rapid precision hits slow enemies, and kills while slowing create Stasis shards that reload the gun.

Acquisition

• Original quest (2023): catch three rare fish across destinations (including the Aeonian Alpha-Betta from the EDZ), turn them into Broken Blades, progress through Deep Dive tiers, and defeat Omen at the Whetstone.
• Current (2026, per Destiny2Fans): buy from the Exotic Archive at the Monument to Lost Lights with an Exotic Cipher, Glimmer and Ascendant Shards.

Catalyst

Collecting Stasis shards overflows the magazine (five rounds per shard). Originally a guaranteed drop from a Tier 7 Deep Dive (rare at lower tiers); Destiny2Fans says it now drops from playlist activities. Sources differ.
