History of Wish-Ender (quest)

Overview

"Wish-Ender" is the Exotic quest for the Wish-Ender Bow, from Forsaken (Season 8). It requires owning Forsaken (access to the Dreaming City and Shattered Throne dungeon). Sources differ on the start: the Destiny 2 Wiki lists the prerequisite as Key of Light and Darkness with Petra Venj as vendor, while a boost-service guide says to start the "Awoken Talisman" quest from the Tower kiosk. The quest is one per character; if abandoned it can be re-picked up from the Quest Archive kiosk in the Tower or H.E.L.M., or by interacting with the statue directly. Patch 4.0.0.1 removed the Tangled Shore requirements. Expect a full Shattered Throne run plus a second pass for the hidden bosses.

Walkthrough

1. Present the talisman to an Awoken warrior in the Shattered Throne: after defeating Vorgeth, interact with the statue of Sjur Eido. You receive three Dreaming Tokens (Querim, Eriviks, Xavoth).
2. Re-enter the dungeon and place orbs in the statues' hands to summon three hidden bosses, converting the tokens to Waking Tokens: Querim (a Minotaur, Tower of the Deep), Eriviks (a Taken boss, Descent section) and Xavoth (an Ogre, Vorgeth encounter).
3. Defeat Vorgeth again and place the three Waking Tokens in the cups beside the Sjur Eido statue to receive the bow.

Rewards

Wish-Ender Exotic bow with Broadhead and Queen's Wrath; its catalyst unlocks after 500 defeats.
