Witches' Ritual

Overview

Witches' Ritual is a public event in which the Hive perform a ritual through an Ascendant Portal. Guardians must stop it. Players defeat the Wizards, stand on the circles until the portal crystals drop, then shoot the crystals to activate the event.

It was one of the public events in Hellas Basin on Mars when that zone was active, alongside WarSat. Later sources list it on the Moon and in Savathun's Throne World, so its location depends on the current game state.

Heroic version

A heroic version can be started after the normal event. Descriptions of the final phase differ: one describes an Abyssal Champion boss spawning, while another describes a large Ultra enemy exiting the portal with reinforcements.
