History of Witherhoard Catalyst

Overview

Witherhoard Catalyst records completion of Witherhoard's catalyst upgrade. Obtain the catalyst through The Bank Job, then defeat 400 combatants with the Exotic Kinetic Special Grenade Launcher. The Bank Job is a quest, rather than a prerequisite triumph.

How to complete

Collect The Bank Job from Banshee-44 after acquiring Witherhoard and complete its listed calibration objectives. Return to Banshee-44 for the catalyst when instructed. This unlock step is separate from the subsequent 400 weapon kills.

For those kills, fire Witherhoard into clustered weak enemies or their spawn entrances so its damaging pools secure final blows. Progress accumulates across activities. Apply the completed catalyst in the weapon's inspection screen after reaching 400 combatant kills.

The upgrade grants Silent Alarm, improving handling and automatically reloading the weapon after it has been stowed briefly. This triumph records that upgrade and does not award a second Witherhoard.
