History of Wrath of the Machine

Wrath of the Machine is the flagship raid of Rise of Iron, playable from 23 September 2016. It is a Destiny 1 raid, and according to Destinypedia it is the only raid from the first Destiny that was not remade for Destiny 2. The raid is set in Old Russia on Earth and follows the destruction of the Replication Complex, when Guardians must end the SIVA Crisis. The team moves through the Server Farm to reach the lair of Aksis, Archon Prime, who is the final boss. Sources differ on where that lair is: Destinypedia places the Perfection Complex in the Plaguelands, while other accounts place Aksis inside the Cosmodrome Wall. Challenge mode rewards SIVA Ornaments for the Hard Mode Spliced Gear.
