A Hard Rain Falls

Overview

A Hard Rain Falls is a Beyond Light quest on Europa given by the Exo Stranger at the Europa campsite. It rewards the exotic-looking sidearm High Albedo (listed as Legendary here). You need the Beyond Light campaign finished; one guide says some Variks quests may need doing first. Expect an hour or less.

Walkthrough

1. Speak to the Exo Stranger to pick up the quest.
2. Travel to the current Eclipsed Zone, which rotates weekly. It is marked by an orange polyhedron on the Director, has the Stasis Regeneration buff and falling debris.
3. Subdue House of Salvation by defeating enemies and completing public events and patrols in the zone for 1000 progress. Heroic public events and powerful combatants give the most; one guide says public events are worth about 35% and patrols 15% (Games Horizon).
4. Report back to the Exo Stranger.

Rewards

• High Albedo, an Adaptive Frame sidearm with three-round burst. Games Horizon says extra copies can be farmed through Sabotage missions from Variks.

Trivia

• The quest ties into House of Salvation's use of the Darkness around the falling Morning Star wreckage.
