Ace-Defiant

Overview

The Ace-Defiant, named Jarus, was a Sindû pilot who became one of Emperor Calus's Shadows. His title and the Hunter armor set built on it come from item lore in the Leviathan raid.

History

When Calus's Cabal Loyalists conquered the Sindû, Jarus led a pilot battalion against Calus's flagship, the Leviathan. The attack failed and he woke aboard it; Calus offered him a golden ship, God's Will, and armor in return for service. Calus called him "My Star" and said "The Ace-Defiant burned his mind to fly my golden ship." During the Shadows' strike on Dominus Ghaul he crashed a ship carrying the Shadows into Ghaul's flagship and died on impact.

Armor

The Ace-Defiant Suit is Legendary Hunter armor: Helm of the Ace-Defiant, Grips of the Ace-Defiant, Vest of the Ace-Defiant, Boots of the Ace-Defiant and Shadow's Cloak, dropped by the Leviathan raid.
