History of Ada-1

Overview

Ada-1 (born Adelaide Meyrin) is an Exo gunsmith and the head of the Black Armory. She is a Golden Age survivor and the only Exo with a unique frame that can upgrade weapons with the Obsidian Accelerator. She runs a hidden Black Armory refuge within the walls of the Last City on Earth, and she is linked to the Volundr Forge.

Armour synthesis

Ada-1 built the Loom, a device that repurposes basic matter, with Guardian help. It produces Synthweave, which lets Guardians give their armour looks based on known patterns.

Quests

• Season of the Forge: Her first appearance. You help the Black Armory, reclaim the Volundr Forge and recover the Obsidian Drive.
• Pathfinding (Season of the Splicer): She seeks help searching for the Black Armory's founders' records.
• Loom construction: Completed with the Guardian's help.
• Reclamation: She asks for help with Hand Cannon research and gives you a Phoneutria Fera to begin initial calibration.
